Deema J. Anani is the Chief Commercial Officer at Airport International Group (AIG). She has the mandate to develop, maintain, and increase commercial revenues at Queen Alia International Airport. The scope of her
position covers retail activities, ground handling, airport services, car parks, advertising, overall retail development, as well as property and assets management that includes real estate development, including increasing investment opportunities in Jordan and supporting the local Jordanian economy.The Commercial Division’s activities also include route development focused on expanding routes and destinations to link Amman with major international networks, contributing ultimately to increasing accessibility and air traffic at Queen Alia International Airport, and enhances the ability of tourists and passengers to travel to and from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Deema represents Airport International Group as an official speaker in
conferences, forums and interviews that are held on a global and a local level She has over 20 years of experience in business development and strategy execution across the Middle East and Jordan. Before assuming her current Role, Deema worked with several international institutions, companies, and Local Government, such as: IBM Consulting Services, Tecom Investments, Monitor Consulting, in addition to the World Bank, The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.Anani is a change agent, a founding member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association, and a member of the Steering Committee of Digital Arabia Network (DAN). She is also a certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer. Anani earned an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Edinburgh. Her interests include writing, teaching and travel retail.
